Messin' Around With Nature
Come Play With Us
A workshop facilitated by Fleming College Third Semester ECE Students in hopes of encouraging community engagement and knowledge sharing.

Our Goals
As third semester students at Fleming College, we have chosen to work with Compass Early Learning Centre as part of our "Building Outdoor Memories" community engagement project. We have collected our resarch into an online, accessible media form. We want this research to be available to anyone who wants to access it. Our goal for this workshop is to create a space where educators in the community can share their knowledge and experience with us as students, and where we can share our enthusiasm for what we are learning.

As this community gathering took place at Fleming College, we would like to respectfully acknowledge that we are on Mississauga lands and traditional territory covered by The Williams Treaties.
We are grateful for the opportunity to work, teach and learn here and we thank all the generations of people who have taken care of this land for thousands of years.
We recognize the contributions of Metis, Inuit and other Indigenous peoples, both in shaping and strengthening this community and country as a whole.
This recognition is connected to our collective commitment to make the promise and challenge of Truth and Reconciliation real in our Fleming community.
Thank you to our instructor, Susan Scoffin for writing this Land Recognition, and teaching us the importance of including it.
Thank you for your presence and your contributions, on behalf of
